Our theme for 2017 is How to Be a Follower of Christ. Throughout the year we will look to the Sermon on the Mount as we reflect on what it means to BE a follower of Jesus. To help us recognize God’s presence in the world you are invited to take photos that capture different aspects of the life and world of Christ’s followers.
Jesus said “You are the light of the world.” Let your light shine and reveal the truth about God, yourself and the world. Take pictures on your phone that speak to you about “The Light of the World”.
Jesus said “You are the salt of the earth.” You are God’s agents of love and transformation in the world. Take pictures of where you see “the salt of the earth” changing lives.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit.” When we can see and name our brokenness as individuals, God’s people, and the world, we are standing at the gate of the kingdom. Take pictures that speak to you of our brokenness.
