"Making homes warmer, safer, drier." That's the mission of Appalachia Service Project-- helping to eradicate sub-standard housing in central Appalachia. Another aspect of their mission is to "accept people right where they are just the way they are." This summer 29 people from St. Matthew's and St. Paul's served in Kanawha County, West Virginia, living out the theme of "Be the Light!" This Sunday we are privileged to hear them share their experiences-- the way God's light shone through those they served and shone through them.
