1) Garden Build
Join us for a Garden Build and help us create new raised beds for our community garden partners!
What we’ll be doing:
Volunteers will work together to build and install raised garden beds that will support local gardens and help expand access to fresh, healthy food in the community.
Who can volunteer?
Anyone with basic carpentry skills—or simply a willingness to learn! No experience is necessary. Our team will guide you through everything you need to know.
Minimum age is 16.

2) Community Education Assistant
Join us for a training session to learn more about becoming a Community Education Assistant volunteer!
You’ll meet our team at the Fresh2You Mobile Market and discover how you can play a vital role in supporting nutrition education in the community.
This is a community-facing, engaging volunteer opportunity where you’ll connect with neighbors, support educational activities, and help make healthy food knowledge more accessible.
Who we’re looking for:
Dedicated, passionate volunteers who are interested in supporting our work on a consistent basis and making a meaningful impact.

3) Color Some Kindness
What began as a volunteer activity for children and families has grown into a meaningful way for anyone to spread kindness in our community. Each month, these boxes are delivered to seniors receiving our Grocery Boxes.
We’re seeking enthusiastic and engaging volunteers who are willing to work with children and adults to assist them with coloring boxes for our Senior Box Program. These opportunities can be onsite at CCFB or offsite at various locations.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Encourage creativity and spread positivity
This is a simple but powerful way to send a caring message, spread goodwill, and connect with neighbors in our community.
Minimum age is 21.
